The Good ol' Winter Season

The temperature gets colder while everyone's trying to get warmer
All bundled up rubbing your hands together
Feeling sorry for the poor and the homeless on the corner
Hoping the next day for a change in weather
Seeing children play in the snow all day
Shoveling your steps and your sidewalk out of courtesy
Turning up the heat at the end of the hallway
Cold breeze cutting through your skin like surgery
Winter season means Christmas is knocking
People putting up their lights and decorations
Filling up candy and toys in the Christmas stockings
Exhausted kids come inside; lots of ventilation
Christmas day arrives; everyone's excited
Old folks drinking with no worries like who cares
